Roles and Responsibilities:
An ideal candidate will have experience in SDWAN as this will be the future of the infrastructure environment. This role will sit in Simi Valley, CA.
Job Responsibilities:
• Responsible for contributing to an extensive network integration project following a large acquisition
• Responsible for network integrations; configurations, upgrades, and infrastructure cleanup
• Will work with corporate and local division resources to ensure cabling, routers, and switches are done correctly
• Become a key member of the team responsible for the planning, implementation, support, and maintenance of infrastructure solutions specific to compute, storage, backup, and disaster recovery.
• Daily environmental health monitoring, proactively remediating any identified issues.
• Resolution of reported incidents and fulfillment of requests pertaining to the compute infrastructure.
• Create concise and accurate technical documentation.
• Manage multiple small and medium initiatives simultaneously.
• Liaise with internal team to ensure effective communication, collaboration, and stakeholder involvement.
• Periodic on-call support for after-hours and weekends.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• 7+ years of overall Network experience – LAN, WAN & WIFI management
• Heavy experience with Cisco products
• Strong experience with network architecture, integrations and upgrades
• Experience in IT networking and Cybersecurity best practices and compliancy requirements for area of expertise
• Experience with Wi-Fi configurations
Preferred Skills:
• CCNP or CCIE certification
• SDWAN migration experience
• Network+ Certification
Pay Range:
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $67.00 hourly; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This pay information is being provided pursuant to applicable law and is based in part on market location.
