Roles and Responsibilities:
***Position is located at Redstone Arsenal Military base***
Performs test and checkout of mechanical, electrical, propulsion, structural, hydraulic subsystems and complete systems located at field locations away from primary company operations. Verifies and corrects such things as welds, Sheetmetal assemblies, controls, alignment of equipment.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
Minimum HS Diploma / GED
Basic Qualifications:
• Experience as a Mechanic on Gasoline and Diesel Engines.
• Needs to be very organized.
• Experience with hydraulics.
• No degree required
• No travel involved in role
Desired Qualification:
• Familiar with Redstone Arsenal, AL operations.
*After several months on assignment, this role may require the candidate to operate a forklift. If so, Lockheed will complete 2 physicals (Climatic Physical, Forklift Physical), and the supplier will be required to cover the cost.
Schedule: 4/10 first shift, 6am-4pm.

Pay Range:
The pay range for this position is $23.00-28.80 per hour; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This pay information is being provided pursuant to applicable law and is based in part on market location.
Please Note:
Must have a valid driver’s license and current state required minimum vehicle insurance coverage to drive onto Client and Company property.
