Roles and Responsibilities:
We are seeking a talented engineer that enjoys holistic system thinking to support the system design and requirements (SDR) through the development, integration and verification activities for integration programs that take the PAC-3 MSE Missile Segment and extend its functionality to other combat systems.
This role will require onsite support full-time at our Missiles and Fire Control headquarters in Grand Prairie, TX working a 4/10 Flex schedule.
What You’ll Do:
• Work with interdisciplinary subject matter experts to analyze and document system requirements in DOORS
• Assist with system architecture analysis using tools like Cameo to assess and capture system use cases, interfaces, timing, and designs
• Capture verification artifacts to support Functional Configuration Audit (FCA)
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science/Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering (Undeclared), Mechanical Engineering, Other STEM (Science/Technology/Engineering/Mathmatics) degrees considered.
• 3 + years working experience in DOORS
• 3 + years Hands-on experience with Cameo
• Broad technical acumen to apply to complex system thinking
• Familiarity with system design concepts and tradeoffs
• Desire to learn detailed missile/ground system/fire control theory and operation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment
• Willingness to work onsite in a classified lab environment
Desired Skills:
• Experience with C++, MATLAB is a plus
• Familiarity with fundamentals of missile system concepts
• Prior experience with DoD projects, particularly Patriot Advanced Capability-3 (PAC-3)/IAMD is a plus
