Responsibilities:
- Develop safety procedures for those working with potentially dangerous chemicals
- Troubleshoot problems with manufacturing processes
- Evaluate equipment and processes to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
- Conduct research to develop new and improved manufacturing processes
- Design and plan the layout of equipment
- Do tests and monitor performance of processes throughout production
- Estimate production costs for management
- Develop processes to separate components of liquids or gases or to generate electrical currents using controlled chemical processes

Qualifications and Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering
Requirements:
- 2 years’ experience in catalyst evaluation, and design and operation of process equipment.
- Strong knowledge of operating, troubleshooting and designing lab or pilot scale catalyst testing apparatus.
- Strong knowledge of pilot scale testing unit maintenance and safety requirements.
- Knowledge of circulating fluidized bed operation, and/or reaction and fluidization engineering are beneficial.
- Prior experience in catalyst testing and in materials science including physical or chemical characterization would be a plus.
- Knowledge of process and automatic control equipment and soft wares (e.g., LabView or Ignition) are highly desirable but not required.
Must have a valid driver’s license and current state required minimum vehicle insurance coverage to drive onto Client and Company property.

Pay Range:
The pay range for this position is $46.00 - $53.00 per hour; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This pay information is being provided pursuant to applicable law and is based in part on market location.
Work Schedule : Monday – Friday; 8:30 AM to 5 PM
