Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Provide strategic direction and functional oversight on multiple learning and development projects including managing external resources, budget, and vendors.
• Be responsible for the evaluation, development, and implementation of large-scale technical training projects that have major business impacts.
• Serve as a key advisor to senior management by playing an active role in the development of large and complex initiatives supporting company-wide strategic objectives.
• Represent EL&D with contractors, suppliers, regulatory agencies, and other OU partner groups.
• Work with internal and external customer groups to negotiate project requirements including scope, resource allocations, and execution strategy.
• Lead cross-functional teams that may include executives and report out to senior executive sponsors.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

Qualifications
• Four-year BS degree
• 5 years of experience in leading cross organizational projects and initiatives targeted to improve employee performance and/or ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• 3 or more years of vendor management experience.

Must have a valid driver’s license and current state required minimum vehicle insurance coverage to drive onto Client and Company property.


Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of electric grid infrastructure, generation/transmission/distribution role in day-to-day operations, and key Company regulatory stakeholders.
• Company business acumen that spans across multi organizational units including Customer Service and Craft.
• Experience implementing safety initiatives across multiple OUs.
• Strong understanding of Public Safety Power Shutoff drivers and business impacts.
• Knowledge of regulations and company policies that impact the company.
• Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills, with solution-oriented approaches and collaboration across multiple groups.
• Ability to think creatively and strategically to make recommendations and complete assignments.
• Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills, including ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience.
• Experience leading high visibility initiatives.
• Experience collaborating with business leaders, working closely with and providing consultation to management, including preparing and presenting clear and concise recommendations and gaining agreement.
• Experience defining learning requirements, developing milestones and timelines, and executing despite challenges.
• Strong ethics, influence and negotiation skills, leadership, and the ability to effectively manage stress.

Pay Range:
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00  per hour; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This pay information is being provided pursuant to applicable law and is based in part on market location.
