Description

The TA Planner position is a member of the Manufacturing Complex’s Maintenance, Turnaround and Construction (MTAC) Organization and is primarily responsible for evaluating requested routine/corrective activity by breaking it down into logical tasks and sequences in such a way as to provide a SAFE executable plan minimizing wastes during work execution.

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Provides detailed planning and estimates for Major Maintenance jobs.
• Ensure all scope items are included in the plan and the estimated cost of the job is accurate.
• Responsible for defining tasks, ordering materials, and developing a detailed field package to properly execute the job.
• Responsible for planning turnarounds and developing packages, i.e., Piping, Exchangers, Column/Vessel Work
• Work with Schedule/Cost Control person to create work orders and ensure correct WO, WBS, etc.
• Make sure work orders are in place for routine work that will be executed during the job.
• Work with Scheduler to develop and optimize a working schedule based on Operation need.
• Update Scheduler on job progress with respect to timing and cost.
• Work within company’s standardized planning and scheduling structures.
• Understands P&ID’s, wiring schematics, diagrams, loops sheets, spec data sheets.
• Troubleshooting and repair

Qualifications and Education Requirements:
• Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis.
• Prior field work experience as a craftsperson or field supervision preferred.
• 3 or more years of planning experience as a lead in industrial environment.
• Must be proficient with the IT environment (PC, Microsoft Office applications)
• Must be skilled with SAP/GSAP systems.
• Working knowledge of maintenance and turnaround scheduling practices.
• Working knowledge of Mechanical (Piping, Columns/Vessels, Exchangers, Fired Equipment), Instrument and Electrical work practices.
• Communication skills.
• Able to perform work with little supervisor and direction.
• Demonstrated ability as a Team Player. Willingly offer and accept challenges and feedback on job deliverables.
 
Preferred Skills:
Experience in Primavera is a plus

Pay Range:
The pay range for this position is $40- $45 per hour; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This pay information is being provided pursuant to applicable law and is based in part on market location.

Please Note:
Must have a valid driver’s license and current state required, minimum vehicle insurance coverage to drive onto Client and Company property.
