Roles and Responsibilities:

• Work safely in a warehouse environment wearing required PPE.
• Follow established company rules and regulations, safety precautions and maintain ISO quality standards.
• Exhibit good housekeeping skills.
• Maintain work area and equipment in clean, safe, and organized condition.
• Use general material handling equipment (forklift, pallet jacks electric/manual, hand truck and carts).
• Use securement equipment (strapping and stretch wrap machine) to strap, band or stretch wrap customer orders as required.
• Use of other general warehouse supplies/tools/devices (computer, weighing scales, postage meter, tape dispenser, pallets, boxing, etc.)
• Labeling accepted, quarantined, and rejected product as needed.
• Special projects as assigned e.g., Material processing, relabels, blending and repacks.
• Perform a variety of shipping and receiving duties including:
• Packaging/bagging/boxing items for shipment, loading trucks, and logging shipment
• Receiving company ordered items by unloading trucks, opening boxes, matching papers to purchase orders, and contacting order recipient.
• Entering the data into computer, logging receipts, checking papers, etc.
• Organize and maintain inventory areas and specific locations for accuracy and efficiency
• Monitor and maintain securement of materials in warehouse storage racks
• Maintain necessary records.
• Detect and report improper operation, faulty equipment, defective materials, and unusual conditions to supervisor.
• Perform other related duties as required or as directed.
• To be able to work and follow Shipping supervision

High School Diploma or GED

• Willing to train on forklift, but someone with experience is very preferred
• Material handling experience preferred

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $ 19.00 per hour; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This pay information is being provided pursuant to applicable law and is based in part on market location.
