The Maintenance Technician will be a team player in the Maintenance Department and is responsible for maintaining and repairing a large portion of the maintenance equipment and Hydra Rig's Fort Worth facility. The Maintenance Tech's main objective is to efficiently and safely keep production running and prevent as little down time as possible.
Roles and Responsibilities:
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform most mechanical maintenance tasks and equipment testing with some supervision.
- Perform mechanical and/or electrical maintenance tasks to support site and equipment.
- Perform Preventative Maintenance, mechanical and/or electrical and diagnosis of problems.
- Plan and supervise some construction or major repair projects, as directed.
- Perform basic HVAC maintenance, as directed.
- Use safe working practices as directed and follow established lockout/tagout procedures.
- Bring Technical problems encountered to their appropriate manager or their designate.
- Perform environmental tasks as assigned.
- Organize and maintain personal and company tools, equipment and work area in a professional manner.
- Responsible to follow all applicable company and corporate policies, procedures and programs, including but not limited to, the process map, support processes, safety and environmental requirements.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
***EDUCATION: MINIMUM HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR GED***
Preferred Skills:
MUST BE KNOWLEDGEABLE ENOUGH TO WORK ON MACHINERY, FORKLIFTS, BUILDING MAINTENANCE AND PLUMBING (ELECTRICAL KNOWLEDGE IS A PLUS)
THEY WILL NEED STEEL TOE SHOES AND SOME BASIC HAND TOOLS INCLUDING -SCREWDRIVERS, CHANNEL LOCK, CRESENT WRENCH ETC.
WORKING HOURS: 6:00 AM ? 4:45 PM MONDAY ? THURSDAY, 6:00 AM ? 2:45 PM FRIDAY, WITH 45 MINUTE LUNCH BREAK.
WE HAVE BEEN WORKING 48 HOURS A WEEK, BUT IT COULD CHANGE.
Pay Range:
The pay range for this position is $25.00_ - $ _31.00_ per hour; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This pay information is being provided pursuant to applicable law and is based in part on market location.
Please Note:
Must have a valid driver’s license and current state required minimum vehicle insurance coverage to drive onto Client and Company property.
