Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Perform testing of products in order to assure compliance to product specification and GMP requirements.
  • Manufacture test samples using common polymer processing equipment. Included but not limited to the operation of a granulator, injection molder, carver press, and extrusion equipment.
  • Conduct tensile testing, melt index testing and durometer testing.
  • Prepare and submit necessary documentation for ISO compliance. Documentation could be either in paper or electronic media format.
  • Perform incoming, in-process and final product inspection under limited supervision.
  • Prepare, maintain and retrieve retained product samples.
  • Track and order operating supplies needed to perform daily tasks.
  • Interface between departments to communicate inspection findings in a timely manner. Communication format could be paper, verbal or electronic.
  • Will be performing tensile testing, melt index testing and maybe some durometer testing, could also train on this

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Skills:

  • 1 – 3 years experience in a QA, manufacturing or R&D environment.
  • Ability to perform functions with limited supervision.
  • Basic understanding of math, chemistry and computers.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple tasks.

Must have a valid driver’s license and current state required minimum vehicle insurance coverage to drive onto Client and Company property

Pay Range:

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $ 25.00 per hour; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This pay information is being provided pursuant to applicable law and is based in part on market location.
