Responsibilities:

This position will support activities for the US Soybean Seeds and Traits Supply Chain Team. The Supply Planning Coordinator will also work with all Soybean Supply Chain Personnel, as well as clients and vendors. Take responsibility of small to medium projects, which include multiple components with milestones and deadlines. This position will be based in Champaign, IL with potential for remote opportunity in the Midwest (IA/IL) for the right candidate. This role requires experience in using SAP or similar tools to provide analysis and ongoing coordination/management of inventory to ensure schedules for remotely housed inventory (soybean seeds) across dozens of seed production sites.

  • Inventory Coordination (70%): Assist with coordination of closing process orders and posting finished packaged and bulk seed products into inventory as reported from our 3rd party production sites or distribution centers.
  • Assist with for inventory management and coordination of all soybean seed finished inventories within our network of 3rd party commercial seed production multipliers, foundation seed plants, treating centers & distribution centers, including plant site in Champaign IL.
  • Assist with maintenance of current and accurate inventory records through close collaboration with Soybean partners.
  • Other Responsibilities (30%): Assists with the release of seed for shipping and investigating incidents of non-conforming seed inventories and support appropriate documentation, including variances.
  • Support Supply Planning team with quality reviews.
  • Assist with master data set up and maintenance of BOMs, recipes, production versions, quality inspection plans, extension requests and costing.
  • Assist with season-end cut & dump disposal process of unsold product in SAP.

Support a broad range of internal teams including information management, production, customer service and Multipliers sites. From time to time, the coordinator may have to engage with the commercial business team, or specific distribution partners.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

High School Diploma or GED

Requirements:

  • Requires experience in using SAP or similar tools; Preferred expertise in SAP tools including but not limited to COOISPI, Ordercockpit, ZUMBE, YSeed200, MMBE and others
  • Ability to review office equipment to ensure they are correctly installed and operational. Practice safe working techniques.
  • Knowledge of accounting transactions helpful
  • Computer skills to include Microsoft Office Suite or other financial tracking databases
  • Basic to mid-level Excel spreadsheet skills including pivot tables, and formulas (v-lookup) experience

Must have a valid driver’s license and current state required minimum vehicle insurance coverage to drive onto Client and Company property.

Pay Range:

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00 per hour; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This pay information is being provided pursuant to applicable law and is based in part on market location.
