Company is seeking an Entry Level Drafter to support Company’s Technology Marketing (TEMA) group located in Richmond, CA. The primary role of the Drafter is to accurately and timely complete a high volume of complex electronic drawings for the Engineering Design Packages (EDP). The position will continuously extend over time.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Draft Process Flow, Piping & Instrumentation and other diagrams for the EDP using COMOS and AutoCAD
• Quickly adapt to COMOS training that will be provided by the company
• Provide quality drawings for reviews and early deliverables
• Follow work and drafting procedures and design codes, in strict accordance with company standards
• Enthusiastic and cooperate with the rest of the CAD group and the project team
• Actively demonstrate Chevron Way behaviors and promote Incident and Injury Free culture
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
• 1+ years of drafting experience in AutoCAD required
• High School Degree/GED required
• Competent level of expertise with AutoCAD
• Computer literate with proficient skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Candidates local to the Bay Area required
Preferred Skills:
• AS/Diploma Drafting and Design or equivalent experience preferred
• AutoCAD Drafting experience in Oil/Gas environment preferred
Pay Range:
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $33.00 per hour; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This pay information is being provided pursuant to applicable law and is based in part on market location.
Please Note:
Must have a valid driver’s license and current state-required minimum vehicle insurance coverage to drive onto Client and Company property.
