This opportunity is on-site and is located at 22777 Springwoods Village PKWY Spring, TX 77389

Provides analytical support to deliver financial results. Works with internal workers and external vendors to resolve issues and provide ad-hoc financial analysis. Prepares cost reports including forecasts/outlooks. Assists with allocation of funds for projects based on approved budgets and monitors project accounting. Validate invoices, expenditures and change requests impacting budgets. Identifies and implements improvements to cost management processes for greater efficiency and effectiveness. Works with minimal work direction and is highly skilled and knowledgeable to the position.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Create monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reviews and stewardship reports
• Work closely with the U.S. Inland Freight Operations Manager to understand the business and seek insightful learnings for improvements
• Provide economic analysis for opportunity evaluation and capture learnings from missed opportunities
• Contribute to special projects, strategy studies, and market entries
• In coordination with IT, develop automated solutions for performance reporting
• Facilitate controls compliance tests
Assist the Global Freight Analyst as needed

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

BBA in Economics, Finance, or Business
• Develop deep understanding of the business and operational aspects of hydrocarbon trading and marine logistics
Interest in optimization, freight markets, and business strategy
• Ability to forecast and assess impact of business decisions
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Demonstrate leadership paired with strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to make recommendations based on analysis
Understanding of bulk hydrocarbon marine logistics; Knowledge of vessel operations
• Demonstrated experience in effective two-way communication with internal and external customers (oral, written, presentation, listening)
• Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Must have strong attention to detail and concern for accuracy
• Strong drive and motivation; strong continuous improvement mindset
Solid proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
Knowledge of Python, R, SQL (Structured Query Language), Tableau & Power BI strongly preferred
• Capability to learn systems/platforms to extract data for analysis
• Able to work with diverse group of individuals; effectively manages external relationships
• Promotes productive impact across organizations; seeks value-added improvements in the supply chain
• Able to condense data and trends into succinct conclusions and recommendations, it written and verbal formats

Pay Range:

The pay range for this position is $55.00-$60.00 per hour; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This pay information is being provided pursuant to applicable law and is based in part on market location.

Must have a valid driver’s license and current state required minimum vehicle insurance coverage to drive onto Client and Company property.
