Location: This is an on-site role in Tucson, AZ

What is the primary mission of this role? Creation and maintenance of the program IMS

Roles and Responsibilities:

• What are the main functions of this role? Ability to understand the program technical and programmatic solution, and partnering with the program team, lead integration of that solution into the IMS baseline plan ensuring the cost, schedule and technical requirements are fully integrated into the execution plan. Lead creation and maintenance of compliant Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) on requirements provided by the customer that achieve necessary cost and schedule integration. Lead and support the team to ensure program plan and IMS is developed consistent with IPDS and program life cycle. Must be able to review the IMS planned work for accuracy, identifying missing work or work that is planned improperly. Understands, can create, use and recommend appropriate alternative/supplemental program management plans/artifacts (HUM, MPS, First Unit Flow), to help the program team understand and manage to the plan. Partner with SMEs, explain Schedule Risk Analysis results to program teams, understands SRA concepts and theory, with ability to interpret results to the program team and integrate mitigation plans into the IMS and schedule risks into the Risk Management process. Provides weekly and monthly planning metrics on schedule status, baseline maintenance, critical path analysis, and schedule variance analysis and network logic validation, employing appropriate Earned Value Management System processes. Mentor and train junior planners

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• Required Skill Sets: Prior work experience with development and maintenance of Integrated Master Schedules in a highly matrixed Organization. Prior work experience using software designed for creating and maintaining industry related schedules (MS Project, Primavera, Open Plan, or similar scheduling software). Prior work experience with managing/leading/integrating scheduling and EVMS techniques (or similar) principles for project teams.

• Desired Skill Sets: Prior work experience with Integrated Product Development System (IPDS) Demonstrated ability to facilitate the effective integration and maintenance in the IMS of technical, schedule and cost in an EVMS environment. Demonstrated ability to understand the program technical and programmatic solution and lead integration and modelling of that solution into the IMS. Demonstrated ability to interpret/analyze SRA results, program schedule risk/opportunity drivers and schedule probability of success. Demonstrated ability to collaborate with Planning and functional organization SMEs to support their program teams. Understanding of hardware and software development life-cycle, exposure to agile methodologies. Demonstrated ability to manage/lead/teach and support proper scheduling and EVMS techniques, principles for project personnel or teams of varying size and backgrounds. Demonstrate the ability to understand different perspectives and ask right questions ensuring IMS integrity. Be able to identify and drive process improvement, ability to work with the team to develop solutions and solve problems. Previous project management experience and/or project management certification. Familiarity with APEX financial systems. Demonstrated experience and knowledge of Cost Estimating/BOE generation.

• Years of Experience Required (if any): 8+ years of applicable Planner or Program Management experience • Education Level Required: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, STEM or related field of study 8+ years of applicable Planner or Program Management experience • Culture: Team environment

Pay Range:

The pay range for this position is $75.00-100.00 per hour; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This pay information is being provided pursuant to applicable law and is based in part on market location.

Please Note:

Must have a valid driver’s license and current state required minimum vehicle insurance coverage to drive onto Client and Company property.
