The oil and gas client you will be working for is one of the world's leading energy companies, with approximately 60,000 employees working in countries around the world. We explore, produce and transport crude oil and natural gas; refine, market and distribute fuels and other energy products; manufacture and sell petrochemical products; generate power; and develop future energy resources, including biofuels and geothermal energy.
Location: Charleston, SC
Pay Range:
The pay range for this position is $18-19.66 per hour; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This pay information is being provided pursuant to applicable law and is based in part on market location.
Schedule:
Workhours – 5/80
Job Duties:
• Move trailers to loading doors and storage lot.
• Maintain accurate inventory of components stored on trailers.
• Bring component trailers to door and stage required components for packaging line.
• Ensure packaging lines are prepared for the next days fills and all components are on standby.
• Receive and count stock items, and record data manually or using RF tablets.
• Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors.
• Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with regulations and facility policies.
• Keep records on the use and/or damage of stock or stock handling equipment.
• Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to dispatcher, stock controller, or supervisor.
• Occasional overtime will be required.
Requirements:
• Minimum (2) years’ warehouse-related/forklift experience.
• Minimum (1) year Yard Dog experience.
• Verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Computer skills
• Attention to detail
• Self-motivated and a team player
• Good time management skills
Contract Term:
2 years with a possibility of extension
Starting February 2023
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
High School Diploma
