Description

Lead a site through historic industry growth to become a regional center of excellence for advanced node

seminconductor part cleaning services. Direct overall site operations including safety, compliance, quality,

purchasing, maintenance, and manufacturing. Accountable for site P&L, this position provides autonomy

for an entrepreneurial leader to acquire new customers and develop the dynamic team to support this growth.

Site requires reinforcement of business processes and establishment of operations metrics to drive

productivity and quality continuous improvement. Initial assignment includes coordination of capital project

teams to qualify new customers on time, on budget.

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Semiconductor manufacturing and associated

quality critical, capital intensive industries. Intercultural communications are central to success. Position

interfaces daily with on-site Japanese engineering team to transfer critical equipment, technique, and

protocol into the site and systemize their operation with local training and control strategies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

- Ensure Safety standards are met to ensure every employee enjoys a safe work environment

- Work with Management to ensure the overall goals of the company are met

- Plan, organize and direct the daily manufacturing and service operations to ensuring the needs and

expectations of customers are met

- Operate to documented processes and ISO standards

- Manage operations to minimize manufacturing costs through effective utilization of manpower,

equipment, facilities, materials, and capital

- Meet business objectives and production schedules while insuring product standards that will exceed our

customers’ expectations

- Establish facility and individual accountabilities and encourage the use of new and improved

manufacturing and servicing techniques that focus on operational efficiencies and product improvements

- Maximize manpower utilization within existing departments and processes by scheduling labor that

allows for maximum output with minimum cost

- Manage spending against established budget and guidelines

- Work to establish management practices throughout assigned areas which include all employees’ positive

involvement with opportunity for construction input and action

- Continually improve safety record by addressing both physical safety issues and employee safety

attitudes

- Maintain a high level of facility appearance, organization and housekeeping in all areas with 5S

principals

- Maintain individual skills keeping up to date with latest production and production management concepts

- Work closely with engineering to identify process improvement areas and sales to increase customer

satisfaction levels

- Maintain, adhere, and promote a culture of safety in the workplace with environmentally sound processes

and practices.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Site Manager will have supervisory responsibility for all operational employees and supervisory

positions which may include purchasing, / shop personnel, maintenance and other critical positions. Daily

shop-level management participation is required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

- 4-year degree; business or technical field (Chemical, Mechanical, Material Science preferred) Experience

in our particular field may substitute for educational requirements

- 5+ years of managerial experience

- Experience in chemical processing or semiconductor manufacturing or production environment

- High energy level required

- Strong leadership skills, independent thinking, strong organizational and planning abilities and excellent

analytical and problem-solving skills are essential

- Proficient with MS Office Pro applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

- Ability to understand and work with JobBOSS (Job Management System).

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

The candidate must be proficient in English and possess strong written and verbal communication skills.

Candidates must have the ability to read and comprehend detailed instructions, policies, correspondences and

memos. The candidate must also have the ability to write detailed reports and business correspondences.

They must also be able to effectively present detailed technical information and respond to technical

questions from customers, auditors, and managers.

REASONING ABILITY:

Candidates must be able to apply common sense and understanding to carry out detailed instructions

furnished in written, oral and diagram form. They must also have the ability to deal with simple to complex

problems involving standard operational practices. They must also have the ability to think and assembly

detailed information into easily understandable rational step-by-step processes.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Most of the work day will be involved in manufacturing/factory areas that include, but are not limited to

process chemical baths, grit blasters, thermal spray booths, cleanrooms, and shipping and receiving areas.

Some time will be spent in office areas, customer sites, building support spaces and roof tops of

facility. The office areas will be clean, well-lighted and well-ventilated. Use of protective safety equipment

will be required while working in all production/manufacturing areas per PPE protocols.
