Applicant will be the software developer responsible for embedded software definition, design, development and integration to support real-time embedded avionics software projects.
Roles and Responsibilities:
The applicant will be responsible for designing, coding, testing and integrating software. Develop, analyze, integrate, and test embedded software for the Systems Integration team. Contribute to software requirements, design, code, reviews, and test of operational flight programs. Modeling and simulation efforts. Corrects program errors, prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls. Good oral and written communication skills required as is the ability to flex and adapt in a fast-paced team environment. Good presentation skills.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
Required Skills
• Experience with C or C++ (C is Preferred)
• Development of real-time systems or use of real-time operating systems (RTOS)
• Developing software for embedded systems with hw/sw integration experience
• Experience with the software development process in a team environment (peer reviews, unit testing, configuration management, defect tracking)
Position is looking for longer term fit and has potential for conversion to full time direct after contracting period
Level 4: BS+11 YRS or MS+9 YRS
Pay Range:
The pay range for this position is $85.00-135.00 per hour; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This pay information is being provided pursuant to applicable law and is based in part on market location.
Please Note:
Must have a valid driver’s license and current state required minimum vehicle insurance coverage to drive onto Client and Company property.
