Roles and Responsibilities:
Our facility in Goleta, CA is seeking a Manufacturing Technician specializing in harnessing, and related electrical assembly and test, with relevant aerospace industry experience working on small, medium and/or large government and commercial programs.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Must be self-motivated, organized and accountable for personal workload.
• Diligent in reviewing, interpreting, maintaining, and completing paperwork and electronic data associated with hardware assemblies to maintain data and material traceability.
• Manufacturing electrical harness assemblies, including ability to correctly interpret schematics and build compliant electrical assemblies as well as demonstrated knowledge of basic electrical tests such as continuity and insulation resistance.
• Following procedures but also able to work from drawings, schematics, and sketches, and collaborate with engineers to develop or prove new processes.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:

High School Degree or equivalent
• Knowledge of Soldering, wire stripping, contact crimping, contact insertion and removal, harness routing and strain relief techniques is required.
• Knowledgeable with structural bonding and application of coatings using various epoxy and silicone adhesive products.
• Working level understanding of force, torque, and precision hand tools.
• Organizational ability to follow, or determine, optimum order of assembly for complex harnesses, mechanical structures, and devices. |

Must have a valid driver’s license and current state required minimum vehicle insurance coverage to drive onto Client and Company property.
Preferred Skills:
Preferred Qualifications:
• J-STD-001 Soldering Certification
• NASA STD 8739.1 Certification
• NASA STD 8739.4 Certification
• Familiarity with solar cell technology and CIC wiring
• Proficient use of basic shop arithmetic
• Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Initiative, self-starter, adaptable, and high motivation for excellence
• Ability to multitask, prioritize
• Experience or familiarity with ISO requirements, standards, and compliance issues
Pay Range:
The pay range for this position is $ 30.00 - $36.00__ per hour; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This pay information is being provided pursuant to applicable law and is based in part on market location.
