Schedule:

Work Schedule: Mon – Friday (8am to 5pm) – every third Friday off

Work Mode: Hybrid (Minimum of one day a week required at work location)

Contract Length: 12 months (with potential to extend)

This position provides a fast-paced environment for individuals who are self-starters, work independently with little or minimal supervision, and are able to switch from one responsibility to another in a seamless manner. Individuals should be able to absorb and apply new information quickly and strive to maintain a broader view of the many facets that make up the Agriculture and Forestry and Sulphur organizations. Excellent pc skills in Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint are essential in support of these exciting businesses. This role supports the Global GM of Sulphur and his teams. This requires being a team player with good organizational, interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal), in order to effectively work with and support the broader teams, as well as interfacing with global counterparts and external parties in both businesses. Maintaining a good working relationship with staff at all levels in both organizations is essential in this role. ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Coordination of all Leadership Team, Town Hall and team meetings, including booking meeting rooms, sending out invitations via Outlook, coordinating agenda and minutes and ordering lunches and beverages, as required

• Coordination of all logistics in planning customer functions and team building events

• Provide support to the HSSE team for Safety Day events, and other tasks when requested

• Organize and support holiday events

• Maintain org charts and service anniversary lists, as well as updating distribution lists in Outlook

• Order and maintain all supplies, including office and promotional items

• Focal point for all issues pertaining to office moves

• Responsible for assisting with distribution of recognition awards and proper recording/tracking in HR system.

• Responsible for assisting managers with new employee orientation including ordering and setup of computer, phone, access to departmental common drive, etc.

• Focal point for all computer related issues including ordering new equipment, requesting software etc.

• Responsible for troubleshooting issues with network printers, fax machines and copiers

• Maintain yearly holiday customer mailing lists • Create presentations for communication sessions, as needed

• Assist with Records Retention as requested from Sales, Credit, Sales Support and HSSE

• Group Records Management Focal Point

• Coordinate travel, including complex global itineraries, and Credit Card Expense management for General Manager

Requirements


Requires:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field and/or 0-3 years of experience applying the discipline skill to oil and gas projects.
  • Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular discipline.
  • Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
  • Day to day, works under immediate supervision / mentoring within their discipline to ensure technical assurance of work products.
  • Has an awareness of how the particular discipline interfaces / integrates with the overall project work scope.
  • Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.

Pay Range:

The pay range for this position is $23-29 per hour; however, the pay offered may vary depending on if you are an independent contractor or T4 employee, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This pay information is being provided pursuant to applicable law and is based in part on market location.
