Roles and Responsibilities:

Job Duties

The technical sales department is responsible for the following:

Providing a high level of response and service to representatives and customers.

Achieving company forecasted orders and margin dollars for Chemineer and Prochem product lines

Assisting with Marketing and R&D efforts in order to improve the Chemineer product offering.

The specific duties of an Application?s Engineer are as follow:

Review quote requests from representatives and customers. Based on the information provided, the Application Engineer must design and price proper equipment and issue a written quotation to the representative.

Provide the highest possible level of support to our customers and representatives

Assist in R&D and/or customer laboratory tests on site and/or at the R&D center as appropriate to help close customer orders and solve mixing applications

Review orders and provide order entry with the necessary order write-up and technical review (as required). This is accomplished by the thorough review of all submitted material, verifying price work-ups, compliance to purchase order terms, conditions, and specifications, etc

Work with all other departments to improve the overall understanding of the business and achieve company goals.

Assist with marketing projects necessary to maintain a competitive product offering. These can include price rationalization, sales tools updates, generation of product literature, etc.

Present technical trainings and presentations to representatives and customers. Attend customer meetings as appropriate with the representative and the Regional Sales Manager to provide technical support

Provide technical support to the international divisions, as necessary.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

Incumbent must have the technical background required to possess an in-depth understanding of company product offerings and applicability in a wide variety of markets. The ability to work effectively with customers and provide customer satisfaction is absolutely essential.

Background requirements would include a B.S. in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering. 2+ years of process or product engineering or engineering sales would be preferred

A positive attitude and excellent communication skills are essential for this position.

POSSIBILITY FOR TEMP TO HIRE

WORKING HOURS: MONDAY - FRIDAY - 8AM - 5PM

WORKING IN OFFICE - NOT HYBRID OR REMOTE

TEAM SIZE - 7 INDIVIDUALS

NO TRAVEL REQUIRED

TECHNICAL APTITUDE (UNDERSTANDING OF CHEMICAL, MECHANICAL, ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT OR ABILITY TO LEARN THE TECHNICAL SIDE OF THINGS)

BILINGUAL IS A PLUS

Pay Range:

The pay range for this position is $30.00-32.00 per hour; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This pay information is being provided pursuant to applicable law and is based in part on market location.

Please Note:

Must have a valid driver’s license and current state required minimum vehicle insurance coverage to drive onto Client and Company property.
