Description

Responsibilities:

  • Shipping / Receiving / Warehouse
  • Send/receive emails via Microsoft Outlook
  • Restock lab supply shelving.
  • Order lab supplies
  • Process goods receipt and service entry work cycles in SAP for site
  • Charge forklift
  • Use forklift to offload pallets.
  • Interact with freight delivery drivers.
  • Process shipments received to include verifying contents, logging items, processing GRs and giving items to recipients.
  • Process outbound shipments to include Ship-It (internal software), and miscellaneous shipments.
  • Verify all Ship-It samples match what has been approved through Ship-It
  • Pack outgoing shipments as specified by temperatures and regulations governed through RCRA, DOT and IATA
  • Field questions and concerns of scientists
  • Coordinate pick up times with freight drivers.
  • Follow up with vendors on open orders.
  • Keep track of framework PO amounts and replenish as needed.
  • Interact with service techs as needed.
  • Perform day-to-day operations within the Facilities Department
  • Hands-on Facilities work such as minor/moderate repairs, troubleshooting, routine preventative maintenance (e.g., boiler blowdown), set-up for events, emergency response, and spill clean-up.
  • Coordinate the work of external contractors and vendors (e.g., electricians, plumbers, equipment calibration services, etc.).
  • Utilization of electronic databases for equipment maintenance tracking (e.g., COGz, SharePoint).
  • Close interaction and collaboration with the Environmental Health and Safety Department.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

High school diploma or GED

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of Warehouse/Industrial experience
  • Shipping & Receiving

Must have a valid driver’s license and current state required minimum vehicle insurance coverage to drive onto Client and Company property.

Pay Range:

The pay range for this position is $32.50 - $33.50 per hour; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This pay information is being provided pursuant to applicable law and is based in part on market location.
