Responsibilities:
- The weather lab technician will coordinate projects with the exterior technical specialist and perform repetitive tasks such as board painting with coatings provided from other lab members, reading color and gloss changes on the boards at planned time intervals, and rate the boards for coating degradation.
- This individual needs to be comfortable working independently or in tandem with other lab members as well as performing some tasks outside such as substrate mounting and removal from the test fence.
- Data entry and preparation of reports are also part of the daily tasks for this position.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
High School Diploma
Requirements:
- Minimum work experience - 3 years of laboratory focused experience
- Experience with Coatings or testing of materials
- Experience in laboratory activity - performance experiments, familiarity with pH measurement, basic chemical mixing, basic chemical conversion and mass balance calculation is required
- Previous Painting experience a plus, house painting is acceptable.
- High School diploma is a must

Must have a valid driver’s license and current state required minimum vehicle insurance coverage to drive onto Client and Company property.
Pay Range:
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00 per hour; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This pay information is being provided pursuant to applicable law and is based in part on market location.
