Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

Support front desk activities at the Energy Education Center Tulare
o Ensures any visitors and customers are assisted upon arrival
o Filter all communication from outside vendors and customers to internal employees either by phone, email, system, or verbally
o Help people using a conference room with simple technology setup task in the rooms
o Provide administrative class support to instructors and Edison team members hosting events
o Assist with registration duties, including documenting attendance, following up with customers, etc.
o Help coordinate schedule of events, including tours, onsite classes, meetings, etc.
o Assist guests with check in at security kiosks
o Support onsite COVID procedures, including testing, as directed by Edison protocols as required by the company
Provide facilities support
o Serve as the onsite point of contact for porter and other contract staff
o Submit facilities work orders for any issues
o Order materials and supplies
o Organize supplies
Support the Tool Lending Library and Induction Lending Library
o Work with leads to schedule tool pick-ups and drop-offs
o Keep accurate loan records
o Help with maintaining our inventory of tools and equipment; keeping them clean, organized, and ready for our customers.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

High School Diploma or Equivalent

o Strong written and verbal communication
o Organizational skills
o Time management
o Strong attention to detail
o Problem-solving skills and an ability to operate independently
o Experience working with various types of technology
o Independence
o Strong working knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
o Bilingual Spanish/English

Preferred Skills:

o Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Sharepoint, PowerPoint, and Teams
o Experience utilizing online software tools
o Experience working in a customer service setting

Pay Range:

The pay range for this position is $ 15.50__ - $ 17.61__ per hour; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This pay information is being provided pursuant to applicable law and is based in part on market location.
