Location: This is an on-site role in Goleta, CA
What is the primary mission of this role?
Provide Quality support to programs.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• What are the main functions of this role?:
o Create quality planning to administer customer and internal quality requirements to Raytheon program teams and supply base including First Article Inspection (FAI) planning. Ensure Quality Engineering engagement in program development, design, test requirements and verification, including the transition of design into production. Onsite support for hardware review and non-conforming material disposition, supporting classified programs in closed area
• How will the contractor’s success be measured?: o Completion of discrete tasks such as FAI planning and execution along with matrix feedback from Integrated Product Team with respect to the effective implementation and flowdown of Quality requirements. Factory support for process reviews and non-conforming material disposition. • Culture: o Working in a collaborative team environment in which communication and collaboration across the team are the most significant determiners of successful program execution.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
• Required Skill Sets:
o Quality Engineering or Operations experience with working knowledge of engineering development, material acquisition, production, test, & product acceptance.
• Desired Skill Sets:
o Infrared industry, semiconductor processing or DoD industry experience preferably working with the Missile Defense Agency (MDA)
• Years of Experience Required (if any):
o Minimum of 5 years’ experience
• Education Level Required:
o BS STEM degree
Pay Range:
The pay range for this position is $65.00-70.00 per hour; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This pay information is being provided pursuant to applicable law and is based in part on market location.
Please Note:
Must have a valid driver’s license and current state required minimum vehicle insurance coverage to drive onto Client and Company property.
