Responsibilities:
- This position has the primary responsibility of supporting the development of solutions for the Coatings Industry.
- The position is working in a chemistry lab. Duties include, but are not limited to, mixing chemicals, testing samples, and documentation.
- Experience in laboratory activity - performance experiments and familiarity with basic chemical mixing is required.
- Experience in vendor management - ordering materials, cataloging materials is a plus- Experience in technical documentation desired.
- Basic knowledge of chemical instrumentation required.
- Basic knowledge of chemical compatibility required.
- Basic knowledge of chemical handling and chemical storage required.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or materials science (or similar field) with 0-5 years of relevant industrial experience or High School graduation with 4-10 years of relevant work experience
Requirements:
- 0-3 years of laboratory focused experience
- Experience and knowledge in formulation and application testing of water-based binders and related technologies is desirable, but not required. Bonus if have relevant work experience in building envelope, construction adhesives, and/or nonwovens industry.
- Ability to complete laboratory experiments, interpret results, and design follow-up experiments in conjunction with Chemists/Technical Specialist.
Must have a valid driver’s license and current state required minimum vehicle insurance coverage to drive onto Client and Company property.

Pay Range:
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00 per hour; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This pay information is being provided pursuant to applicable law and is based in part on market location.
