Roles and Responsibilities:
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Research technical data and develop procedures through interviews, on-site visits and production observations.
- Organize and research available data, write technical manuscripts from the data including procedures and parts lists.
- Determine illustration needs and recommend content to illustrators.
- Assist in proofing and editing technical publications of other writers for conformance to style and format.
- Meet with other writers to determine project assignments and report project status.
- Schedule and conduct review meetings for approval of new or revised publications before final version is released.
- Assist in the development and revision of style guides that meet the specific needs of NOV products.
- Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
- Comply with all Company and HSE policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
FACILITY/GROUP SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Standardize Aftermarket service documentation to promote identical provisions of NOV service globally.
- Communicating with all repair centers, service groups and engineering, agree on standardized documentation for assessment, inspection commissioning and test of equipment, both in the field and in the repair center.
- Ensure all documentation follows industry standards/compliance as well as design/wear criteria.
- Make all users aware of where the information as located and the best methods of using the documentation system.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have a Bachelor's degree.
- Experience in writing technical documents/manuals/procedures.
- 4 Year degree in Engineering, Mechatronic being preferred or equivalent experience
- Experience in quality management system/document control
- Be able to read engineering drawings

SCHEDULE: DAY SHIFT - FLEXIBLE ON START/END TIME SUCH AS 6AM-3PM, 7AM-4PM, OR 8AM-5PM
40 HOURS PER WEEK WITH NO OVERTIME EXPECTED.
HYBRID AVAILABLE WORKING 2 DAYS REMOTELY PER WEEK ONCE INITIAL TRAINING IS COMPLETE.
DURATION: THIS IS A TEMP ASSIGNMENT UNTIL SEPTEMBER 15TH

- MUST HAVE GOOD REPORT WRITING SKILLS
- MUST HAVE PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE WRITING TECHNICAL DOCUMENTS, MANUALS, PROCEDURES
- SELF-MOTIVATED AND ABLE TO WORK INDEPENDENTLY
