Roles and Responsibilities:
As a CMM Programmer, you will:
Prepare electronic code and detailed inspection instructions for operating numerical controlled (N/C) inspection equipment.
Develop CMM programs both at the CMM by "learn programming" and "off line" at the computer aided inspection station (CAI).
Assure compatibility of engineering drawings, design data, and fabrication methods, with CMM methods and capabilities.
Provide training to machinists, quality auditors, and technicians on CMM Operation.
Resolve compatibility issues between the CAI system and design data generated by computer aided design (CAD) processes.
Have above average knowledge of geometric and traditional tolerancing.
Have above average knowledge of various manufacturing, fabrication, and measurement processes to assist Manufacturing Engineers in the resolution of measurement system and manufacturing problems.
May be required to create solid models using CAD systems
Zeiss Calypso and PolyWorks experience is preferred
This can be a Contract to Hire or Direct Hire position.

CMM Programmer
Our team in Aircraft Group is looking for a CMM Programmer to join them. You will report to the Sr. Operations Coordinator and will have an onsite work schedule.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
To be considered for a CMM Programmer, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you:
Associates Degree (or equivalent) in a technical field
At least five years of manufacturing inspection experience and 3 years of CMM inspection/programming experience.
The ability to demonstrate above average knowledge of GD&T
Candidates must have CMM Programming, not just CMM inspection. Please do not submit candidates unless they have experience with CMM Programming.
